Okay so let me first introduce myself - my name is Thomas Burns aka Mr Skinflint and for the pass 10 years I have been seeking ways to make extra money and so far I have not achieved much aside from a few extra grand a year through surveys, which is time consuming and very low pay for the amount of work required.

The plan is now to try some new ways to make approximately £10K per month, which to me would be a very satisfying income and enough for me to take this up full time.

I am inviting you on my journey over the next few years during which I will more than likely fail to achieve this goal but I am likely on the way to evaluate the validity of a number of so called get rich schemes

Day 8: Losing Day

I think I can safety say BernardTips are no better than guessing yourself and have about the same success rate. I think they only get so many right per month by the sheer odds of chance that a lot of matches will be over 2.5 goals and this is why they focus on this market.

Yesterday BernardTips got none right and I got 2 out of 3, which only returned about £30. Fortunately I also placed a bet on William Hill on the current favourite bets, which came good and won me £191

I now have £51 in Bwin account and £191 in my William Hill. I am going to focus today on my own guesses as there is no point to BernardTips and I definitely will not be renewing my membership

Day 7: I'm a loser baby...

It would seem both myself and BernardTips are having a bad run of things right now with my guess being wrong and their tips being wrong. In fact only 1 out of the last 5 BernardTips have been correct so I would say the jury is still out on their service but I suspect I will not be renewing in May.

My Bwin balance is now £113 with 2 open bets, which could win a further £60 and my William Balance is £20. So I am pretty much back where I started and now need a few significant wins to get back on track so not sure of my strategy for tomorrow but I may go all out again with a little covering bet just in case

Day 7: Bets for today

I am a little rushed at the moment so keeping my updates brief. I have had my tips for today and placed 1 double on 2 matches for the maximum Bwin would let me, which was £77.25. I also placed my own double on William Hill for £59.73.

If I am right again and BernardTips is not it kind of proves you will have as much luck with this system on your own as you will with BernardTips. I think the truth is more often then not matches with 2 strong teams end up being over 2.5 goals

Day 6: Losing Day

Firstly I need to say I did receive gold tips for yesterday at around about 9 am and subsequently placed a series of bets around these predictions

Sadly it is fair to say that yesterday did not go all to well with the last 3 of BernardTips predictions being wrong. However my own guesses for 3 matches that would be over 2.5 goals was correct and won a little of my money back.

I now have £184 in my Bwin account and £89 in my William Hill

Day 6: Update

I was going to place a lucky day bet on 6 matches but I could only find 3 available, which would explain why no tips for today as there are hardly any matches.

I instead placed a patent bet of £30 on these 3 matches being over 2.5 goals (though for one I accidentally chose over 1.5 goals) and a couple of £10 bets on the favourite bets of both Bwin and William Hill.

Day 6: Where are my Tips?

Okay things are little odd today as I have not been sent a specific gold tip for today and the Silver one is the match I bet on yesterday. I do have some silver tips for tomorrow and Saturday but I will be betting on them tomorrow.

Instead what I have done today is place one bet on the William Hill favourite bets (which is very unlikely to win) and a Lucky Day bet on 6 matches of my own choice for over 2.5 goals - see if can as well as BernardTips who now have 10 out of 13 right!

Day 5: Losing Day

Yesterday was a slightly manic day and I never got a chance to log what was essentially a losing day as 1 of the matches ended up 0-0 but the actual bets have not been settled yet as one of the matches is today so I will not know the full outcome until this evening.

Anyway as it stands I now have £227 in my Bwin account and 2 open bets, and £80 in my William Hill account and 2 open bets.

I still have not had the Gold tips for today but I think I am going for a similar strategy to yesterday
